A love letter sealed with a kiss. Prior to smart phones and emails, people used to send letters to one another. One of the best letters a person could receive was a love letter, particularly if it was from someone they really liked or loved in return. Some girls or women would enhance the experiences by spraying the letter with perfume. Wartime love letters from home helped keep soldiers focused and motived to get the job done and get home safely to the people that loved them. Passing one of these in school was a sure way to get caught by the teacher and embarrassed in front of all your peers. Regardless of the risk, the temptation and reward was always too hard to resist.
